This was gathered by others during the West Coast Bryophyte Workshop and photographed by me at the CYO camp where we stayed. The adjacent image shows sporophytes, this is a closer view of the vegetative (gametophye) part of the plants
This is a rare moss that requires copper and/or other metals in the substrate and is thus one of the so-called 'copper mosses'. The bluish-green color and small size are distinctive.
