A small (Males 19–27 mm, females 21–27 mm) Afrixalus from eastern R. D. Congo and south-western Uganda. Montane savannas in Kivu, Rwanda, Burundi and south-western Uganda. Often found in reeds, papyrus and bamboo, normally above 1500 m.
