Rain Frog

Known from the coast and ranges of north-eastern Queensland, from Ingham north to Cooktown.The extent of occurrence of the species is approximately 15200 km2

A rainforest species found in forests at low and high altitudes (to 1 300m asl). Usually found under fallen timber or leaf-litter.Males call from beneath leaves on the forest floor. Breeding and larvae unknown.

No known declines.ThreatsHabitat loss from logging in the past. Now habitat degradation associated with tourism.Conservation MeasuresHabitat is protected within a World Heritage Area.
