Lycaena barkeri Trimen, 1893: 129; pi. 8, figs. 5, 6. Euchrysops barkeri: BethuneBaker, 1923: 347; pi. 23, fig. 51, pi. 30, fig. 51. This species ranges from Abyssinia to South Africa and west to Angola. Bethune-Baker also records it from Sierra Leone on the strength of which I include it here as possibly to be found (interior savannas ?) in Liberia.
