Kunming Nase

Body dark grayish on back and silvery white below; gray on dorsal fin, reddish on anal fin and orange red on caudal fin. Belly rounded and with scutes from end of pelvic fin to anus; snout blunt; eyes located in lateral of head; mouth small and transverse, lower jaw with a well-developed horny anterior edge; upper jaw thick and slightly projected (Ref. 45536).

Lives in clear waters and in the middle and lower layers of waters. Feeds on plankton, algae and bits of organic matters (Ref. 45536).
