Euphyes berryi is a year-round resident in Florida and as a smaller, separate population in North Carolina (Scott 1986). Habitats are subtropical to southern coastal-plain marshy sedge areas. There are several flights each year with the approximate flight time late March-Oct. 15 (Scott 1986).

Adults feed on nectar of flowers such as Pontederia. Males perch for females (Scott, 1986).
