Female 9-11mm a rarely reported species which is always caught when samples from >3000m are collected in the Atlantic.

Female (13-15mm)showing the large reflectors of the naupliar eyes. This species is cammon at depths of 800-1500m in the North Atlantic. It ia assumed that this species is the same as Skogsberg's species from the Southern Ocean.
