Following weeks of heavy rainfall, it was discovered under log beside small flowing creek. It was entirely black and measured SVL 45 mm (1 in.), TL 90 mm (3 in.).
Discovered beneath stone on bank of flowing creek and, when uncovered, this quick moving salamander attempted to drop into hole leading to flowing water below. The salamander measured SVL 56 mm (2 in.).
