    Phaeophyscia orbicularis including its dark brown apothecia, and Xanthomendoza fallax including one of its yellow-orange apothecia. Growing on the bark of a felled piece of a Cottonwood hybrid tree. Feb. 8, 2013, Salt Lake County, Utah open space, elev. approx. 4,360 ft.
