Description:
Leontice leontopetalum (Lionleaf) is a tuberous plant growing in fields and open areas in Europe and SW Asia. In Israel it is common in loessial soils of the Negev Desert. After blooming the flower develop into inflated fruits and the whole plant tumbles in the field.
