Looking S at cutover Lodgepole pine, red fir in sub alpine zone near Hunter Lake. Sagebrush, Artemisia tridentata and Wyethia mollis, stumps and rocks dominant on deforested areas. Some second growth lodgepole as in foreground and few firs. (Nevada), T 18 N R 18 E Sec 13, Elevation 8000-9500 Quad name: Carson. Quad number: N-61.
