On south slopes are patches of brush ( Arctostaphylos patula, Quercus vacciniifolia, Ceanothus cuneatus) and red fir west. White pine in subalpine types, Jeffrey pine at lowest elevation. Tops of peaks covered with semibarren Artemisia tridentata, Wyethia mollis in sage type. Red fir, west.
