riparian corridor of small tributary of Rio Verde in narrow canyon cut in volcanic rhyolitic tuff. Plants in volcanic silts, coarse soils, mixed gravels and scattered large boulders of canyon bottomland. Large mature tree with estimated height exceeding 36', circumference greater than 8'.
