Slo.: lepi jeglič, avrikelj - Habitat: Slightly inclined stony meadow, calcareous ground, dry place, full sun, exposed to direct rain, average precipitations ~ 2.300 mm/year, average temperature 6-8 deg C, elevation 780 m (2.550 feet), borderline between Sub-Mediterranean and Dinaric phytogeographical region. - Substratum: soil pockets in limestone rocks. - Protected according to 'Uredba o zavarovanih prosto ivečih rastlinskih vrstah' (Regulation of wild growing protected plants),Ur.l.
