Image of desert rosemallow

Description:
plants on a broad, gravelly ridge of platy Cretaceous limestone and shale. These pale creamy flowers touched with pinkish hue and vivid red centers may represent some degree of hybridization with H. denudatus, also found in the immediate vicinity. All other plants in the area were clear yellow.
