Description:

Slo.: diea tramovka - Habitat: Small meadow with several Picea abies stumps, almost flat terrain, calcareous ground, old overgrown river deposits, shallow soil layer, sunny and high air humidity place, exposed to direct rain, average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 8-10 deg C, elevation 400 m (1.300 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: mostly debarked partly rotten Picea abies stumps. - Comments: Many fruitbodies on five tree stumps. Pileus up to 15 cm (6 inch) wide. Very characteristic pleasant smell. Hard corky trama. SP very faint, color indistinctive, whitish-grayish. Spore dimensions: Smooth, 9.0 (SD = 0.7) x 3.2 (SD = 0.3) micr., Q = 2,76 (SD = 0.24), n = 30.
