Looking north shows semi-desert chaparral of Arctostaphylos parryana and Cercocarpus betulaefolius, also some Arctostaphylos glauca, Quercus dumosa, Hesperoyucca whipplei (=Yucca whipplei) and occasional Pinon. In vicinity Fremontodendron californicum (=Fremontii californica), Artemisia tridentata and Quercus chrysolepis are found., T 7 N R 22 W Sec 11 Quad name: Mt. Pinos. Quad number: 155.
