Description:
Corallomyxa (cor-al-owe-mix-a) large reticulate amoeba, rarely reported, from marine sites. May occur as extended amoebae and cysts. Usually found in the reticulate form, where broader tracts of cytoplasm may link clumps, and both may five rise to fine branching and anastomosing pseudopodia. This is a view of a number of cells.
