Description:
The Tasmanian endemic Pentachondra ericifolia (fine frillyheath) flowering in the RTBG Nursery.Tasmania has three Pentachondra species two of which are endemic. The third, Pentachondra pumila, occcurs in Tasmania and New Zealand. Pentachondra ericifolia is listed as Rare at the State level (pdf).
