Jeniang, Kedah, Malaysia.Dokong. Lansium domesticum Corra. Meliaceae. The plant originates from a gigantic tree in the Pattani Province, south Thailand, and propagated throughout Southeast Asia as a food crop. Generally, there are several major dokong grouping, i.e. Dokong bulat, Dokong bujur, Dokong bawang, Dokong butir, Dokong air, Dokong narathiwat, Dokong kering, Dokong tokki. Slightly oval fruits, large and crowded together. Many cultivars have been developed due to the fruit popularity.
