Jeniang, Kedah, MalaysiaSalomonia cantoniensis Loureiro, Fl. Cochinch. Polygalaceae. CN: Malay - Rumput buak], Rumput sekera (Sumatra). A small annual herb found native to southern China, Indo-China, Thailand and most of the Malesia region. Traditionally used by the natives for the treatment of sprue in children; for which it is pulped and rubbed about the mouth.
