Xerochrysum alpinum (i)

Description:
The endemic Xerochrysum alpinum (alpine everlasting) flowering and going to seed at Lake Mackenzie, Central Plateau Conservation Area, Tasmania.Xerochrysum alpinum was described in 2017 and is currently poorly known. Species is readily distinguished from X. subundulatum by it's pronounced rosette and scaly inflorescence - a growth habit more similar to the white flowered Xerochrysum miliganii.
