Welsh's milkweed
Description:
Asclepias welshii N. & P. Holmgren. Federally listed as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act and the first to have critical habitat designated under the ESA in Utah. A highly restricted endemic plant species. It is a very beautiful plant with those amazing velvety soft leaves.August 10, 2003, Kane County, Utah, growing here with Scurfpea (Psoralidium sp.)
