Family: EuphorbiaceaeDistribution: In shady places along the ravines of Velugonda hills of Eastren ghats. Photographed at the place cited in Nellore district. Limited to Peninsular India and SriLanka. 1-3mts tall shrub. Leaves 6-12x2-5cm eliptic-oblong, serrate, acute at both ends, membranous, sparcely hairy. Flowers 3-5mm across yellow in 5-8cm long androgynous terminal spikes. Capsules 3-5mm across, globose, 3 valved. Reference: e floras, ENVIS, Flora of Madras Presidency by J.S.Gamble.
