Batty - Hypoplectrodes annulatus - Black-banded seaperch #marineexplorer
Description:
H. annulatus is the least common of the sea perches and is not often seen. This is due in part to it's habit of living upside-down "suspended" from the roof of caves. Like a bat, but underwater. This photo was taken at Shark Point in Sydney.
