Zale lunata Moth - Lunate Zale

Description:
Hereford, Md.Highly variable. Hosts on blackberry, raspberry, salmonberry, rose, willow, oak, sensitive plant, cherry, chokeberry, plums, hawthorn, wisteria and occasionally forbes. In the southern part of its range it overwinters as a pupa and in the farther northern parts it migrates.
