Robinia hispida buds - Flickr - peganum (1)

Description:
Description: There are several similar shrubby pink flowering Robinias, nothing like the huge false acacia tree (Robinia pseudacacia) including R.fertilis, elliotii, hartweggii, luxurians and, possibly the best of them, kelseyi, all very lovely and all too rarely seen here in the UK. If anybody in the USA (where these all come from) reads this and knows where I can get some seed I'd be very interested. Date: 3 May 2011, 14:19. Source: Robinia hispida buds. Author: peganum from Small Dole, England.
