Potvis op het strand

Description: Nederlands: Schipper Van de Velde uit Breskens heeft een dode potvis van een zandplaat in de Westerschelde meegenomen naar de haven van Breskens. Met een lier wordt de potvis op de kust getrokken. Prof. Brongersma van het Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie bekijkt het dier, voordat het skelet in de collectie van het museum zal worden opgenomen. Medewerkers van het museum ontleden de potvis.
