Description:
Description: Male Himalayan Monal (Lophophorus impejanus) is without doubt one of the most beautiful birds seen in India. It is also a very difficult bird to see, considering the fact that it inhabits the snow bound and inhospitable regions in the Himalayas. It is only in early spring that they can be easily seen at altitudes of 9000 feet. Seen at Chopta, Uttarakhand. March 2015. Date: 14 March 2015, 08:31. Source: Himalayan Monal.
