This gorilla was the dominant of two silverbacks in the Nkuringo troop (in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda) at the time the photograph was taken. Photographed with a Pentax K-1000 camera body with a Sigma 100-300 zoom lens and Fuji ASA 1600 speed film. Scanned using a desktop flatbed scanner in RGB colorspace and cropped to 360x328 pixels.
