Description: English: Close-up of the bug Rhabdomiris striatellus (syn.: Calocoris striatellus). The specimen is ~8 mm in length (body only). Deutsch: Nahaufnahme einer Eichen-Schmuckwanze (Rhabdomiris striatellus). Diese hat eine Körperlänge (ohne Extremitäten) von nur ca. 8 mm. Das Tier wurde innerhalb einer Wohnung gefunden, wohin es sich offenbar verirrt hatte bzw. eingeschleppt worden war. Im Außenbereich kamen die Wirtsbäume dieser Weichwanzen – Stiel-Eichen – zahlreich vor. Date: 21 May 2013. Source: Own work. Picture taken with: + + mini-tripod + flashlight.
