American Pygmy Kingfisher -48 100- (36166533486)

Description:
Description: During our 10 days in Costa Rica in February, I managed to see 5 of the 6 species of kingfisher found in the country, missing only the Green-and-rufous kingfisher (which is restricted to an area we didn't go to, the Caribbean lowlands). My favorite was this guy, the absolutely tiny American Pygmy Kingfisher. Date: 21 February 2017, 13:08. Source: American Pygmy Kingfisher [48/100]. Author: Tim Sackton from Somerville, MA.
