Description: English: Digger wasp (Sphex funerarius) digging and introducing prey into its nest. The nest is watched by small flesh-flies (probably belonging to the genus Metopia or Miltogramma). At 0:43s a spider wasp (Pompilidae) (probably a red-legged spider wasp [Episyron rufipes]) lands briefly at the nest entrance. Filmed near Frankfurt airport, Hesse, Germany. Die Höhle wird von Fleischfliegen (wahrscheinlich eine Metopia oder Miltogramma Species) belauert, die dort ihre Gelege deponieren; bei 0:43 erscheint eine Wegwespe (Pompilidae, wahrscheinlich Episyron rufipes), die das Nest auf seine Eignung als eigene Höhle untersucht.
