Ageratina herbacea habitus

Description:
Description: English: Ageratina herbacea, aromatic or Apache snakeroot, Apache Springs Trail, Bandelier National Monument, New Mexico. Thanks to Patrick Alexander at NMPLANTS-L for ID. He mentioned that this photo may be indistinguishable from Ageratina rothrockii. However, it's rare in New Mexico and not known within something like 100 miles of the place where this photo was taken, so I've called this plant herbacea. Date: 4 August 2009. Source: Own work. Author: JerryFriedman. : This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: Cropped, lightened, unsharp mask.
