Stewartia ovata
Description:
Description: English: I took these photographs in the Tennessee section of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park during 2005 and originally used them on my website at http://www.treetrail.net/stewartia_ovata.html. They show a rare form of the species called stewartia ovata grandiflora which has larger blossoms than the common form of Mountain Camellia, and purple stamens instead of the normal yellowish stamens. I have now decided to release these photographs into the public domain. Date: 2005. Source: Own work. Author: Bbwinkles.
