Scarlet Globemallow Seedskadee NWR (18552694620)
Description:
Description: Scarlet globemallow (Sphaeralcea coccinea) doesn't look very scarlet to me. It looks more like salmon globemallow, but that is not one of the choices listed as an alternate common name. Red false mallow, copper mallow, or cowboy’s delight are our choices plants.usda.gov/plantguide/pdf/pg_spco.pdf Whatever name it is given, it adds color to the landscape and provides habitat for insects, birds, and mammals.
