Macroptilium lathyroides (Wild bushbean) - Flickr - bob in swamp
Description:
Description: Wild bushbean or phaseybean is originally from tropical America but was introduced and naturalized into the tropics and subtropics of India, Australia, Africa and the southern U.S. It is a useful pioneer and nitrogen fixing forage. I see a few plants blooming in local natural areas every year but they don't seem to be too common or weedy here. This one was at Frenchman's Forest Natural Area in Palm Beach County.
