Description: Once plentiful the population of the Regent Honeyeater has crashed to a wild population of about 250 birds. A large part of this population of highly mobile bird is currently in the lower Hunter Valley making the most of a once-in-a-decade mass-flowering event of Spotted Gums Corymiba maculata.
