Het blad is klein, ovaal en loopt in een smalle punt uit. In februari en maart bloeit deze sierheester onopvallend met witte bloemetjes welke een heerlijke, honingzoete geur verspreiden! Opvallender zijn de vele glimmende zwarte besjes die de Sarcococca Hookeriana na de bloei vormt. The leaf is small, oval and ends in a narrow point. In February and March this ornamental shrub flowers unobtrusively with white flowers that give off a delicious, honey-sweet scent!
