Description:
Description: Maratus spiders are known from Australia, in particular there are many from Western Australia. This 4 mm long Maratus would be one of the most common peacock spiders in Western Australia, many of them living in Perth Back yards. I was extremely surprised to see one sitting inside on the wall of our rented unit 200+ km N of Perth. Fred photographed him perfectly! HA! Explored 12 Oct 2021 #269. Date: Taken on 28 September 2021, 16:41. Source: Maratus pavonis. Author: Jean and Fred from Perth, Australia.
