It was first brought over in the 1600s and has spread westward to occupy the whole of Canada. While flower-lovers enjoy this bright, cheerful plant, it is a bane to farmers, as its aggressive growth crowds out forage plants. The daisy blooms from May to December, and prefers disturbed sites.
