Description: September 20th, 2020 High of 73 degrees Fahrenheit 41 degrees Fahrenheit at capture On a cool morning as the sun finally appeared on the horizon of an east-facing glade, this small lizard was found under a rock next to tall grass. The ground was very dry after having received no rain for over a week. After photographing the torpid skink it was released back under it's rock. Jefferson County, Missouri.
