Diese Porpita porpita habe ich gefunden im arabischen Meer an der Westküste von Indien, im Staate Kerala. Ein Schwarm von tausenden solcher kleiner Blue Buttons hat auf der Oberfläche des Wassers geschwommen und ich mitten drin. Es gab aber keine Verbrennungen oder Äzungen wie bei richtigen Quallen. Ein paar der Tierchen habe ich eingesammelt und zwecks Studiums in einen Petflascheboden zum Fotografieren hineingelegt, habe sie dann wieder ins Meer gegeben. Date: 8 January 2012. Source: Own work.
