Description:
Description: Alstroemeria aurea Graham 20081226 near Osorno, Chile Or a very similar species -- there are dozens of species of this genus of lily growing like weeds all over the Chilean countryside. Lovely aren't they? (Yes, I confess, that is Volcán Osorno in the background. Hey, I worked long and hard to get this shot composed just right with that darned volcano in the background just so..).
