White-crested Tiger-Heron - Ankasa - Ghana 14 S4E2068 (16010535898)
Description:
Description: Original caption: "Very rarely seen bird, only in the deep dark forest : it was very early morning at the first pool in Ankasa and the bird was moving slowly in the dark, I hoped he could pop out in a small window in the vegetation , actually it happened but not where I expected him, therefore the first image is out of focus , the second was in focus but the bird was already partially behind the vegetation." (= Tigriornis leucolopha) English: A White-crested Tiger-Heron (Tigriornis leucolopha) in the Ankasa Conservation Area (Ghana) Deutsch: Ein Weißschopfreiher (Tigriornis leucolopha) im Ankasa-Naturschutzgebiet (Ghana).
