Electric Eel- despite the name, these are note eels at all (27900224295)
Description:
Description: A better look at the bad boy- the Electric Eel. These animals have laughably small eyes. Despite the name, these are not eels, but rather a type of knifefish. The electric eel has three pairs of abdominal organs that produce electricity: the main organ, the Hunter's organ, and the Sach's organ. These organs make up four-fifths of its body, and give the electric eel the ability to generate two types of electric organ discharges: low voltage and high voltage. More notes about electric eels appear in the next caption. (see next image). (Toronto, Canada, Nov.2015). Date: 1 November 2015, 00:00.
