Description:

Description: August 30th, 2020 High of 76 degrees Fahrenheit 74 degrees Fahrenheit at capture A tiny snake found under dark artificial cover on a cloudy day following a heavy downpour. Not many other snakes were observed under cover at this site, though numerous others were observed attempting to bask at a cypress swamp about fifty miles away earlier in the morning. This snake attempted to burrow under loose sand to escape every time I used my lens cap to cover it up. Scott County, Missouri. Date: Taken on 30 August 2020, 03:51.
