Description:
Description: I am not sure if this Mantella madagascariensis or M. baroni. The close resemblence between both species is said to be the result of "Müllerian mimikry" (i.e. two noxious species evolving a similar aposematic pattern that reinforces the signal towards predators). Date: 21 January 2010, 08:07. Source: Painted Mantella, Mantadia National Park, Madagascar. Author: Frank Vassen from Brussels, Belgium.
