Description: English: Anagallis crassifolia is a steno-Mediterranean species found in the western part of the basin and along the south European Atlantic Coast. It is found in Morocco (Tangiers; near Lalla Mimouna; Aouamara; near Kénitra), Algeria (Numidia: Bône, El Kala and the Constantine Tell: Djbel Ouach), in Tunisia (Aïn Draham, Mogods, Col du Vent), Spain (southern Andalusia in Cadiz), in Portugal (Algarve), in Sardinia and in France (Gironde; Landes and a doubtful presence in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques). In the Mediterranean region, the extent of occurrence of the species is about 1,033,000 km². The area of occupancy is smaller than 2,000 km2 and probably even smaller than 500 km2.
