Description:
Description: Columnea gloriosa—flying goldfish plant. From Mexico south to Venezuela. I suspect this plant is a hybrid. It tolerates the San Francisco Bay Area climate well, and will survive a few hours of frost with no apparent effects. The plant that provided the flower for photography resides in a private garden in Berkeley, CA. Date: 23 January 2016, 21:57. Source: 2016-01-23-10.58.56 ZS PMax Columnea gloriosa-1.
